Import API Definition

Import Open API Definitions

Users can import third-party open api specification as required to access external services for creating robust and efficient applications. With headers support, you can include headers such as authorization tokens during API calls. When importing API definitions, any headers added by the user will be automatically included in all API definitions.

Important: OwlGen supports OpenAPI specification version 3.0 and above. If newly added headers have the same name as existing headers in the API definitions, the new headers will overwrite the existing ones.

Follow the below steps to import an Open API definitions:

1. From the explorer menu, right-click API Definitions and select Import Open API.
2. In the Import API Definitions pop-up window, click Choose File to browse for the specification as required and then click Import.
