Subscriptions (Interfaces)
Subscriptions are commonly associated with the Observable pattern. A Subscription is used to listen to and react to changes in an observable stream. When you subscribe to a subject, it starts executing and emitting values.
A Subject is a special type of observable that allows multicasting (emitting values to multiple subscribers) and enables manually pushing values into the stream.
Purpose: Subscriptions and subjects together enable Data Sharing Across Components — share state without input/output properties. It allows data sharing between:
- Parent master layout and child master layout
- Master layout and interface
- Interface and custom component
- Custom component and custom component
