Subjects

Subject is a special type of Observable that acts as both an Observable (can be subscribed to) and an Observer (can receive and emit values). It allows multiple subscribers and enables both emitting and listening to values.

Subjects enable seamless communication between different UI components, including master layouts, interfaces, and components, while also managing and updating shared state across the application.

Subjects work in conjunction with subscriptions, which act as event handlers for the data emitted by subjects. Subscriptions can be defined at the interface, master layout, or component level to react to changes and trigger necessary updates.

Purpose of Subjects

Enable Multicasting: Subjects create a new execution for each subscriber, a Subject shares the same emitted values across multiple subscribers.

Act as an Event Emitter: Subjects are commonly used to emit and listen to events.

Facilitate Data Sharing Between Interfaces, Master Layouts and Components.
